Itanium 2 storms the benchmarking world
Looks like HP answered my secret prayers and published some SPEC results for the upcoming Itanium 2. I think that this marks Intel's entry into the workstation market. All that I hope is that they actually encounter some form of competition... Read the whole article...

Benchmarks
Ahhhhh, benchmarks. An easy way to see if people say the truth or not when they speak about the respective speeds of their CPUs. I like to see what people say, and compare that to SPECCPU2000 results. The differences are sometimes very surprising. Well, are they so surprising? Read the whole article...
